Don't depend on sunscreen too much Sunscreen doesn't block UVA completely. You must use some physical block too. If you apply sunscreen, you might think your face is all protected, but that's not true. No sunscreen is perfect. In fact, FDA is considering to ban the word "sun block", because it's misleading. So, you must try to use some physical block in addition to sunscreen too. Some Japanese are extreme. They wear a lot, a lot, a lot of stuff, including sunglasses, big hat, hand gloves, arm cover, umbrella...etc. Consider times that you could incorporate these UV blocking options into your life, because again in general 80% of skin aging comes from UV rays! They use special umbrella which protects from UVA, but regular umbrella works too. In addition to sunscreen effect, it cools down temperature. Sunscreen umbrella is not just for women. Even men do. Because of the breakdown of nuclear power plants in Japan, they have to save energy as much as possible. So they cannot use air conditioner as much as before, and wearing umbrella is good way to avoid heat. In addition, women wear hand gloves and arm covers. Some wears umbrella even while riding bike. There is such equipment to hold umbrella on the bike. Here is a key holder that changes its color depending on the amount of UV rays.
